Eiichi Kuhabara left his imprint on the 9-2 New Orleans win against the Arlington Bureaucrats. Kuhabara, who is rated as the 30th best prospect by BNN, was 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 times. With the win, New Orleans lifts its record to 4-8.
Cipriano Rodríguez had a big run-scoring double for the Trendsetters in the top of the fourth inning. With New Orleans leading 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he got a slider from 27-year old right-handed pitcher Sa-yoor Chang and swatted a double to right. It was his 4th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Trendsetters ahead, 2-0.
Rodríguez told a New Orleans Herald reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
