In a high-scoring contest between Gonaives HS and Guantanamo HS, right fielder Joseph Courtois was a difference-maker. Courtois, who is tied for 6th in the AC with a .703 slugging percentage, distinguished himself in the 10-8 Gonaives HS win. He went 4-6 with 2 home runs and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. The 5th-place Revolution now have a record of 10-10.

Pierre Billon came through with a big-time hit for Gonaives HS. The pinch hitter smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 10-8. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"I don't feel you win baseball games by working harder than the other team or 'wanting it more,'" Courtois told the Gonaives HS Bulletin. "You win just by scoring more runs."
