Aurora pitcher Dae-hyun Pak did his part in helping his team defeat the Palm Springs Codgers, 5-2. The opposition could never get too much going against the left-hander. In 8 innings, Pak surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 2. He allowed 2 runs. Héctor Gutiérrez locked down his 33rd save.
Bartolo Mora was 1 for 3 for Aurora. The 2028 Royal Raker Award winner had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Bang-xao Niu. It was his 42nd RBI of the season.
"I feel like we're rolling now," Pak told the Aurora News."The dugout is coming alive."
