Geckos Fall to Goths Late

The Windsor Canada Goths picked up a win at Goths Ballpark, taking down the Aix-Marseille Universite Geckos, 3-2. Starting pitcher Blair Bryan was a big reason why. Keith Adkins, now 2-1, was credited with the win in 1 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on 2 hits, while striking out 2 and walking 0. The setback makes Aix-Marseille Universite 21-30.
The climactic moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Windsor Canada. That's when 21-year old first baseman Wayne Bell hit a run-scoring double off Gérard Léonard to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.
"Very pleased with the effort on our side," said Bryan.
