Instituto Politecnico Nacional second baseman Mario Puente had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Ciefuegos Peloteros, 7-3. Ángel González notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits in 3 innings. His record now sits at 2-0.
