The rain came, as predicted, but the Windsor Canada Goths and Delft Engineers were able to complete their ballgame.

Starting pitcher Dan Eassson gave the Windsor Canada Goths a rock-solid performance, helping his team defeat the Delft Engineers, 2-0, at Goths Ballpark. The last-place Goths are now 19-21, the Engineers 18-22.

Larry Barteaux helped his team take an early lead with a run-scoring single. It came in the first inning, making the score 1-0, Goths.

Said Delft manager Paco Cuellar: "They pitched the heck out of us."
