Big Day for Reed as Mustangs Down Nuggets, 5-4
|
Chatfield HS second baseman Scott Reed had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Dakota HS Nuggets, 5-4. Chatfield HS is now 25-21, Dakota HS 24-22.
With Chatfield HS leading 3-2 in the bottom of the fifth, Reed hit a changeup from Jack Edwards for a 2-run home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Mustangs ahead, 5-2.
"Every time I go up there, I try and hit a ball hard," said Reed.
