Oswego HS Beaten, 2-0, by Horizon HS

The Horizon HS Huskies and Oswego HS Lynx squared off at Horizon HS Grounds.
Both offenses were feeble at Horizon HS Grounds. Fortunately for the Horizon HS Huskies, though, John Neely delivered in the clutch. He went 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once, to help his team topple the Oswego HS Lynx, 2-0. Tynan Smith, credited with the win in relief, is now 2-3. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings.
Horizon HS took a 2-0 lead on Neely's 10th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Jake Martin in the bottom of the eighth, propelled Horizon HS to the win.
Neely told a Horizon HS News reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
Horizon HS is 6th in the Western League Pacific Conference with a record of 21-25.
