Lookouts Hang 5-1 Loss on Skeeters
Fans were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown Yerington HS Skeeters take on the Billings West HS Lookouts.

The Billings West HS Lookouts dealt the Yerington HS Skeeters a 5-1 loss at Skeeters Ballpark. Alberto Abio, who is tied for 6th in the WL in doubles with 14, was the star on offense. He went 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. Brandon Gross snagged the win in relief. He goes to 1-1 on the season. Truman Simons suffered the loss.

Trent Hicks dealt the Skeeters a blow in the top of the sixth. Batting with the bases loaded and Billings West HS leading 3-1, Hicks, who is the 3rd-best prospect in the Lookouts organization, hit a 1-1 fastball for a run-scoring single.

"We put our best foot forward tonight," said a smiling Hicks.

With the win, the Lookouts have a record of 28-15.
