Montgomery goes 4-for-4, Ignites Horizon HS Offense

Led by Matt Montgomery, the Horizon HS Huskies defeated the Wilson Classical HS Bruins, 5-4. Montgomery went 4-4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Huskies. The winning pitcher was Scott Matthews. His record now stands at 4-0. The right-hander went 5 innings, allowing 4 runs on 3 hits for the Huskies. Chris Davis closed it out for Horizon HS, earning his 15th save.
In the top of the third, Montgomery had a 2-run home run for Horizon HS. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Huskies on top, 2-0.
