Myrmidon Use Late Push to Top Thunderhawks
The De La Salle HS Myrmidon took Tumwater HS pitcher Ricardo Gómez's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Myrmidon Ballpark. The final score had De La Salle HS getting past the Thunderhawks, 4-3. Gómez went 6 innings and allowed 2 runs, striking out 3. The win was credited to 16-year old left-handed pitcher Lyndon Jackson in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Jon Blair took the loss. The Myrmidon now own a record of 25-14.

De La Salle HS went in front, 4-3, on Álex García's 7th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which García hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Tumwater HS pitcher Jon Blair visibly perturbed.
