The Yerington HS Skeeters blasted the De La Salle HS Myrmidon, 15-5. Eric Casey was one of the hitting stars. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 3 times and driving in 6 for Yerington HS. Yerington HS reliever Glenn Lee was credited with the win. His record goes to 1-0.
