The Snow Canyon HS Yeti defeated the Boone HS Matadors, 9-4. Doing his part was first baseman Pete Miller, who was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Paul Origel sewed up the save, his 1st. The defeat makes Boone HS 14-16.
Snow Canyon HS used the hitting of Scott Richmond to pick up the win. The second baseman clubbed a grand slam home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Yeti on top, 9-4. For the game, Richmond had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
