The Niihama-shi Ghosts picked up a win, 8-3, over the Bakersfield Bears at The Oaks at Aera Field. Harold Stowe led the charge. The Peacehaven, England native went 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for Niihama-shi. Luppe van Dam got credit for the win, improving to 8-7. He allowed 2 runs on 9 hits in 6.1 innings. The Ghosts now have a record of 66-46.

With Niihama-shi leading 1-0 in the top of the second, Stowe hit a curveball from Héctor Cruz for a 2-run double. It was his 24th double of the season and put the Ghosts ahead, 3-0.
