Toyohira pitcher Zhong-yan Ke had a large part in his team subduing the Brampton Camels, 4-0. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the left-hander. Ke, now 15-5, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 2, walking 4, and allowing no runs. Iván García finished the game for Toyohira and earned his 32nd save.

Toyohira used a well-timed hit by Dermott Westoby to capture the win. The third baseman socked a run-scoring double in the top of the first inning to put the Fubuki ahead, 1-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"I still think this team can play even better," Ke told the Toyohira Times.

The triumph puts Toyohira at 85-51 for the season.
