The Port Royal Privateers faced a tenacious opponent in Aruba pitcher Berta Oluyemi, but still scratched out a win at Tanks Ballpark by a final score of 5-4 in 13 innings. Oluyemi went 6.1 innings and allowed 1 run. Port Royal reliever Eric King was the winner. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Enrique Martínez. The 6th-place Privateers sport a record of 29-34.

Port Royal got a game-changing hit from Hidehira Ine. The left fielder blasted a solo home run in the bottom of the 13th inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 6 at-bats, but it was a winner.

"We didn't go down without a fight," said Aruba manager Jason Sargent.
