At Tanks Ballpark, the Aruba Wahoos and Port Royal Privateers were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Behind a fine performance from Guo-dong Xú, the Port Royal Privateers knocked off the Aruba Wahoos, 6-0. Xú was 3-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Privateers. The winning pitcher was Carlos Salinas. He's now 5-6. He went 6.1 innings, allowing no runs on 5 hits for the Privateers.

Dave McIver hit a 2-run double off Min-su Hong in the bottom of the first, which put the Privateers in front, 2-0. In addition to the double, McIver had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.

"When there are games to be won, you win them," said Port Royal manager Juan Castro.

The Privateers improved to 28-34.
