Port Royal and Bridgetown slugged it out for in 12 innings. António Valdéz, in particular, was outstanding. The Port Royal right-hander helped his team knock off the Flying Fish, 2-1. Port Royal reliever Alfonso Vázquez picked up the win to move to 1-0. Enrique García suffered the loss. Port Royal, now 25-30, holds down 7th place in the Intercontinental Baseball Coalition Paradise League.

Port Royal got a clutch hit from Norberto García. The first baseman socked a solo home run in the bottom of the 12th inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was game-ender.

"Drama and more drama," said Privateers manager Juan Castro. "That's baseball at its finest."
