Matsuo Leads Frenchies to 6-3 Win Over Spell Swords
The Quebec City Frenchies downed the Lodoss Spell Swords, 6-3, at Quebec City Ballpark. The Frenchies were led by Shunso Matsuo. Matsuo was 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. José García finished to wrap up his 30th save. The Frenchies now have a mark of 62-70.

With Quebec City leading 3-1 in the bottom of the fifth, Matsuo came up to bat against Lodoss pitcher Perry Wichers. Matsuo hit a fastball to right-center for a 3-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season put the Frenchies on top, 6-1.
