Perry Wichers, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2041 draft, had a strong outing for the Lodoss Spell Swords against the Medicine Hat Drillers at Medicine Hat Municipal Stadium. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-3 win. Lodoss has a record of 58-69, placing them 4th in the Pacific Alliance Cherry Blossom.

Lodoss used a clutch hit from Hogai Okada to get the win. The designated hitter drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Spell Swords ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a doozy.

"Scoring runs is scoring runs," said Lodoss skipper Hidekazu Yamamoto. "It's important to have different ways to do it."
