San Juan Coqui starter Alberto Salazar turned in an exceptional performance against the London Underground at PRTC Stadium, resulting in a San Juan win, 5-1. Salazar picked up the win for San Juan, going 7 innings. He gave up 1 run on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 8-10. San Juan is 61-48 and London, with the loss, 59-50.

Gerardo Cardona had a big 2-run double for the Coqui in the bottom of the second inning. It was his 7th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Coqui ahead, 3-0.
