De La Salle HS took on Chatfield HS in front of a lively crowd.

The De La Salle HS Myrmidon topped the Chatfield HS Mustangs, 7-5, with designated hitter Jaime García playing a big role. García was 2-5 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for the Myrmidon in the win. Octávio García finished to wrap up his 7th save.

García contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for De La Salle HS in the top of the fifth. With his team trailing 3-2, García took a fastball from Ron McGuire and stroked the home run to left-center. His 3rd home run of the season allowed the Myrmidon to leap in front, 5-3.

"It never gets old," said García. "Winning, that is."
