Big Day for Kerr as Skeeters Down Yeti, 8-4

Skeeters Ballpark was the site for Western League action featuring the Snow Canyon HS Yeti and Yerington HS Skeeters.
A 3-RBI performance from designated hitter David Kerr led the Yerington HS Skeeters to a win over the Snow Canyon HS Yeti, 8-4. The 5th-place Skeeters sport a record of 8-10.
Gerard Weber's at-bat in the bottom of the seventh was significant, coming with runners on 2nd and 3rd and the game tied, 3-3. The Yerington HS first baseman hit a run-scoring single off Sean Floyd to put the Skeeters up.
"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Kerr said.
