Slumping Bears Lose Again
The Aurora Borealis beat the Bakersfield Bears, 4-3. Aurora pitcher and Annas Retreat, US Virgin Islands, native Brenden Clymo led the way. Héctor Gutiérrez earned the save for Aurora, his 44th. The slumping Bears have lost 7 straight.

Aurora used the timely hitting of Henry Bojórquez to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Borealis on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"When you have a good rhythm and good flow, it's nice to just go out there and pound the strike zone with confidence," said Clymo.
