The performance of Juan Carlos Ornelza proved critical in helping Neo-Tokyo beat Toyama, 4-3. The Akira left fielder went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. P.J. Henry earned the save, his 19th. With the win, Neo-Tokyo goes to 65-93, while the Wind Dancers fall to 95-63.

Ornelza had a timely hit for Neo-Tokyo in the bottom of the sixth. With Neo-Tokyo trailing 3-2, he turned a first pitch slider into a 2-run home run. It was his 20th home run of the season, making it 4-3, Neo-Tokyo.

"See ball, hit ball. When I think too much, that's when I get in trouble," Ornelza told the Neo-Tokyo Times.
