Brenden Clymo, who led the SL in wins with 20 in 2036, never let the Arroyos get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his slider, to pitch the Borealis to a win, 4-1. Clymo, the winner, moves to 12-7. He threw 5 innings of 2-hit ball, while fanning 6 and giving up 3 walks. Héctor Gutiérrez wrapped it up, recording his 29th save.

Raúl Muñóz, who led the SL in batting average with .327 in 2033, had a direct impact on the outcome. Muñóz contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put Aurora up, 2-0.

"It was a team effort and I thought the guys had a good plan and approach," said Clymo after the game.

Aurora now has a record of 66-41 with the win.
