The Taipei Wardens had to overcome a good performance from Fushigi Yugi pitcher Rubén Águila to claim a 3-2 win at Taipei Tianmu Baseball Stadium. Águila went 6 innings and allowed 2 runs. The win gives Taipei a season record of 79-74.

The decisive blow was delivered by Andrew Hall in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off three-time All-Star Álex Gallegos to win the game for Taipei. The home crowd went nuts.
