The Fushigi Yugi Celestial Warriors beat the Kure Arsenal, 4-3. Fushigi Yugi pitcher and Yauco, Puerto Rico, native Rubén Águila led the way. Álex Gallegos earned his 8th save in 13 chances. The 'W' lifts Fushigi Yugi's record to 59-84.

Fushigi Yugi center fielder Kazunari Ito contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With two down, he hit a fastball to left-center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 124th hit of the season and put the Celestial Warriors ahead, 4-0.

"I was just taking it batter by batter, just enjoying the moment," said Águila.
