The Lodoss Spell Swords topped the Brampton Camels, 6-3, in Pacific Alliance action at Ballpark of Brampton. The game was highlighted by the performance of Lodoss pitcher Kosaku Ojima. Ojima, now 3-8, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 2, walking 1, and allowing 1 run. Dave Jackson closed out the game, earning his 11th save.

A critical at-bat came in the top of the seventh inning when the Spell Swords sent 21-year-old designated hitter Hogai Okada to the plate with runners on 2nd and 3rd. The youngster shook off the pressure and hit a 2-run single, to put Lodoss on top, 5-1.

Lodoss manager Hidekazu Yamamoto called it "a good, solid win."

The 4th-place Spell Swords are now 54-67, the Camels 69-52.
