The Fushigi Yugi Celestial Warriors beat the Taipei Wardens, 5-3, at Brown Bears Ballpark. Fushigi Yugi first baseman Jack Allen banged out 2 singles and 1 double, while driving in 2 runs. The winner in relief was Yoshinobu Yoshida. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3.1 innings. He now owns a record of 3-0. Toshiki Miyata earned save number 7 this season.

Allen had a game-changing double in the bottom of the seventh. On a 2-2 fastball from Juan Hernández, he banged a 2-run double to center, giving the Celestial Warriors a 5-3 lead. It was the 25th double of the year for Allen.
