Taipei starter Martin Krook pitched well against the Kure Arsenal at Taipei Tianmu Baseball Stadium. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-0. Taipei, at 68-65, sits in third place in the Trinity.

Krook, who leaned on his fastball, allowed no runs on just 3 hits over 7 innings for the Wardens. For the most part, Kure hitters were simply overmatched.

"Martin is pitching with a lot of determination and a lot of fire," said Taipei manager Phil Anderson.
