Warriors Win 6-5 Nail-Biter Versus Drillers
Medicine Hat got a decent performance from pitcher Luther González, but it wasn't enough to beat the Ikari Warriors. Ikari won the Ikari Grounds contest, 6-5. González threw 5.2 innings allowing 3 runs for the losing team. The winner was Liu-chun Du in relief. His record improves to 4-2. Ieyoshi Kiyomizu took the loss. The first-place Warriors go to 72-45.

The Warriors got a clutch hit from pinch hitter Mei-shan Kum. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Warriors.

"It was terrific getting this win," Kum said. "We put in a lot of work to do it."
