Lodoss Collects 2-1 Win
|
The Lodoss Spell Swords got a magnificent performance from pitcher Sancho Morales, who muffled the Laval offense en route to a tight, 2-1 Spell Swords win at Islanders Ballpark. Morales, now 8-2, was the winner. In 5 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 4, walking 3, and allowing 1 run. The Spell Swords improved their record to 52-62 with the win over Laval.
Ryo Kouda, who is tied for 9th in the PCAL in triples with 5, had a direct impact on the outcome. Kouda contributed a run-scoring double in the top of the fifth inning to put Lodoss up, 2-1.
"I just kind of blacked out and executed my pitches," said Morales.
