MacDonaugh Stars in 11-4 Balloonists Win
The Gatineau Balloonists topped the Sherwood Park Hoods by a score of 11-4. Leading the way was center fielder Robbie MacDonaugh. MacDonaugh went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 5 for the Balloonists. Gatineau reliever Diego Gómez picked up the win, upping his record to 2-4. Toshikuni Wada was saddled with the loss. The last-place Hoods dropped to 39-67.

Nick Marsh came through with a big-time hit for Gatineau. The catcher smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to give his team the lead, 7-4. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"It was our day today," Marsh told the Gatineau Chronicle. "But we've got to keep our nose to the grindstone."
