Gatineau Rallies for 4-2 Victory
|
Gatineau pitcher David Porris had a large part in his team subduing the Ikari Warriors, 4-2. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the right-hander. Diego Gómez locked down his 27th save. Gatineau now sits at 54-45, while Ikari falls to 66-33.
Anzai Ogawa, who is tied for 10th in the PCAL in bases on balls with 51, had a direct impact on the outcome. Ogawa contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the ninth inning to put Gatineau up, 3-2.
Gatineau manager Jason Campbell said his team played a "no nonsense" game.
