In baseball, each game is unique. This one was no different.

Cliff Morris, who is tied for 5th in the PCAL in strikeouts with 118, had a strong outing for the Brampton Camels against the Laval Islanders at Ballpark of Brampton. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 3-0 win. At 57-43, the Camels have a slim two-game lead in the Pacific Alliance Maple Leaf.

Morris subdued the Laval offense. The Brampton right-hander allowed a mere 4 hits over 8 innings, while fanning 10. His season record goes to 8-5 with the win.

"Cliff had it going," said Brampton manager Pepe Espinosa.
