Okada Helps Spell Swords Beat Kings, 12-9
Hogai Okada was the difference-maker for the Lodoss Spell Swords in what turned into a shootout with the Red Deer Kings. Okada, who is tied for 7th in the PCAL with a .385 on-base percentage, went 4-for-5 in the 12-9 Spell Swords win. Lodoss is 46-54 and Red Deer, with the loss, 50-51.

Owen Fletcher aided the Lodoss cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the fourth. For the game, the designated hitter drove in one run.

"This isn't football or hockey where you can overwhelm your opponents," Fletcher told the Lodoss Observer. "Everyone gets 27 outs and we happened to make the most of them."
