Camacho Delivers 6-2 Win
|
Hamilton pitcher Francisco Camacho had a large part in his team subduing the Toronto Phantoms, 6-2. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the right-hander. Andrew Bevan closed the door for Hamilton, picking up his 4th save of the year. Hamilton is now 51-47, while Toronto is 47-51.
Camacho, the Hamilton right-hander, went 7 innings, allowing no runs on 1 hit. He collected 9 strikeouts.
"I believe in our guys," said Hamilton skipper Robert Davis. "I like the energy they're playing with."
