The Edo Battousai beat the Gwangju Jade Tigers, 11-1, at Newark Grounds. The Battousai got a fine performance from center fielder Juan Baidakoff, who was 2-3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. Scott Tilton, 5-5, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 4.1 innings. With the win over Gwangju, the Battousai improved to 70-64.
Randall Perry, who is tied for 10th in the TRI in RBI with 72, chipped in a 3-run home run for Edo in the bottom of the first. For the game, the right fielder had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 RBI.
