Mal Jones was locked and loaded, helping the Edo Battousai beat the Taipei Wardens, 2-0. Vicente Ramírez earned the save, his 13th, for the Battousai. With the win, the Battousai improved to 66-59.

Edo left fielder Forrest Aldridge contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With two down, he hit a splitter to right field for a run-scoring single. It was his 135th hit of the season and put the Battousai ahead, 2-0.

"I give credit to my teammates for this win. We got it done," Aldridge told the Edo Observer.
