Celestial Warriors Lose to Wardens in Walk-Off

The home team gave their fans plenty to cheer about, with a thrilling walk-off win.
Taipei Wardens starter Anthony Lee was dealing. He helped his team knock off the Fushigi Yugi Celestial Warriors, 2-1. Van Frazier picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 4-5. Álex Gallegos suffered the loss.
The decisive blow was delivered by Armando Rúbio in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run home run off three-time All-Star Álex Gallegos to win the game for Taipei. The home crowd went nuts.
"We were in it," said Fushigi Yugi manager Van Landrigan. "We just didn't score enough runs."
The second-place Wardens lifted their record to 64-59.
