Privateers Beat Decepticons, 2-1

Both offenses were feeble at The Pit of Kaon. Fortunately for the Port Royal Privateers, though, Lindsay Gamble delivered in the clutch. He slugged 2 home runs, to help his team topple the Santo Domingo Decepticons, 2-1. Port Royal is now 22-27, while Santo Domingo is 25-24.
Port Royal took a 2-0 lead on Gamble's 8th home run of the season. The solo home run, which he hit off Octávio Estrada in the top of the seventh, propelled Port Royal to the win.
"The other side played a good game," said Santo Domingo manager Pat Plummer. "You tip your cap to them."
