Punta Cana 6-2 Losers to Mystique

The Montserrat Mystique defeated the Punta Cana Mamajuanas, 6-2, in Intercontinental Baseball Coalition action at Soufriere Hills Park. Montserrat pitcher Jorge Cisneros had a standout performance. Montserrat reliever Jorge Cisneros was credited with the win. His record goes to 1-1. Fokke Leuthold took the loss for Punta Cana. Greg Bryant earned the save for Montserrat, his 8th of the year.
The Mystique got a big at-bat from second baseman Walt Owens. For the game, Owens went 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 7th home run of the season gave Montserrat a 3-1 lead.
Cisneros called the win "what playing unselfish baseball looks like."
The Mystique improved their record to 31-15 by beating Punta Cana.
