A good performance from shortstop Jason Green helped the Point Grey HS Hounds defeat the Strathcona HS Leopards, 6-3. Green went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Hounds. Jack Meadows earned the save, his 3rd. The win leaves Point Grey HS with a record of 3-4.

Green had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a first pitch fastball from Bob Carruthers, he banged a grand slam home run to left, giving the Hounds a 6-3 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Green.

"We're in a little funk right now and we've just got to get ourselves out of it," said Strathcona HS manager Mark Hunt.
