Tight Tilt Goes to Kings, 3-2

The Collegio San Carlo Kings managed to get by the Strathcona HS Leopards, 3-2, at San Carlo Grounds. Collegio San Carlo pitcher Gilles Arfè set himself apart with his performance. The win went to Christian Antonoli in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Marvin Colvin took the loss. Strathcona HS now is 3-1.
Lorenzo Díaz went 1-4 for Collegio San Carlo. The 17-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With no one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Marvin Colvin. It was his 1st RBI of the season.
"That was a really good outing by Gilles," said Collegio San Carlo manager Nobuhito Sugiyama.
