Crystal Lake ace Luppe van Dam solidified his place in league history with his 200th career victory today at Doyle Buhl Stadium. van Dam and the Sandgnats bested Duluth 5-2. He checked the Warriors on 3 hits in 6.1 innings and finished the day with 4 strikeouts and 2 walks.

"I've worked hard for this day," van Dam said. "Sometimes I didn't think it would happen. Most of the time it seemed so far off. Now it's here. It's like a dream!"
