Big Day by Leaper Ignites Mariners Win
Montego Bay HS left fielder Darren Leaper was instrumental in helping the Mariners triumph, 9-5, over the Eton Rifles. Leaper went 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. José Coronado went 5.2 innings, allowing 1 run on 5 hits. The right-hander struck out 5 and walked 0. With the win, he's now 1-0 this season. The win leaves Montego Bay HS with a record of 3-0.
