The Manila HS Water Buffalo took on the Hsinchu HS Shock at Hsinchu Ballpark.
Manila HS Water Buffalo starter Rizalino Vicera pitched his team past the Hsinchu HS Shock, 5-1. The winning pitcher was Vicera, now 2-0. He tossed 6 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 3.
Manila HS won the game in part because of Rizal Narcida. The right fielder ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Water Buffalo ahead, 2-0. For the game, Narcida had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.
"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Vicera told a Manila HS Daily reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
The 6th-place Shock dropped to 16-28.
