Scots Deal Sensei 7-6 Loss
|
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Dunedin HS Scots and Tennoji HS Sensei.
Due in large part to first baseman Timothy Abbey, the Dunedin HS Scots sunk the Tennoji HS Sensei, 7-6. Abbey was 2 for 2 with 2 doubles and 3 walks. Roderick Forbes, credited with the win in relief, is now 2-0. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 3 innings.
Clancy Hesketh helped his team take an early lead with a 2-run single. It came in the first inning, making the score 3-0, Scots.
"Very pleased with the effort on our side," said Abbey.
Dunedin HS is second in the Pacific Conference Oceanic Division with a record of 25-17.
