In a close game at Settlers Stadium, the Rockingham HS Settlers edged the Dunedin HS Scots, 4-3, in 16 innings. Rockingham HS right fielder Malcolm Archdeacon stood apart with his performance. He went 3-7 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Rockingham HS reliever Benjamin Ollson picked up the win, raising his record to 1-1. William Spooner was tagged with the loss. With the win, the Settlers improved to 15-23.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. With the game tied in the bottom of the 16th, an error by the Scots allowed the Settlers to score the winning run.
